The Maxum Deadbolt is a UL437 Listed, BHMA A156.5 Grade 1 Certified deadbolt, offering unmatched protection against unauthorized key duplication, bumping attacks, picking, drilling, wrenching, kicking, or other physical abuse. A solid 1'' hardened steel bolt in heavy gauge steel housing provides maximum defense against physical attack. This also features a Captive Thumbturn, which converts the inside cylinder to a thumb turn for easy exit when the facility is occupied. and is easily converted back to a double cylinder when unoccupied for maximum security. All by simply removing and replacing the thumb turn from the cylinder.
With patented key control you will have complete control over who has keys to your locks. No more wondering if someone you gave or lent a key to, ran to the nearest hardware or big box home improvement store and made duplicate keys to your locks. Only you are authorized to request additional keys. A unique authorization card is issued with each key combination and is required to order additional keys in the future. Medeco accomplishes this by owning the patent on their technology, therefore no other key blank manufacturer is permitted by law to reproduce their key blanks. Medeco strictly enforces its key duplication policies through its dealers.
