The new HIT-66-295 template is designed to quickly and accurately install or retrofit the Yale 8800  series mortise locks. All required holes are lined with hardened drill bushings; the larger holes for the mortise cylinder and lever spindle will also accept hole saws. Plates are machined from aluminum and hard anodized.  This template requires the HIT-66 clamp system that includes the HIT-4509 mortise alignment plate (HIT-66 clamp system sold separately). The template set includes both inside and outside template guides. All drill guide holes are identified for trouble-free drilling. Door range for the HIT-66 clamp system is 1-1/4” to 2-7/8”.
