The HIT-60B drill guide provides an easy and accurate way to drill the wire raceway required for electrified locks. Simply drill from a hinge cutout to the desired location on the opposite side of the door. In most cases, the door can remain mounted in the jamb, it just needs to be able to open about 100 degrees for clearance. The HIT-60B drill guide can be adjusted to the angle from the door hinge to the lock. Both the drill guide and clamps are rubber-lined to protect the door and provide a positive grip. Standard HIT-60B will drill a 1-3/4” door with a 3/8” diameter hole. The HIT-60B bundle includes one 24” and one 48" High Speed Steel.
