Hands-On Live In-Person Training - Soldering And Basic EEPROM Course - 1 Day Course - 8 CEU's (June 2nd, 8AM to 5PM PDT - Los Angeles, California)

This 8-hour class will provide practice with, and real world application of identifying, soldering and desoldering components within automotive ECUs specifically immobilizer modules. Soldering equipment will be provided for each student to use during the class the second half of this class, taught by Donnie Sherfield. It will provide the students with an introduction to identifying memory devices (EEPROMs) and the use of real world equipment to acquire, read, modify and reprogram these memory devices, with the goal of producing a programmed transponder that will start the vehicle.

The EEPROM portion of this class will begin with simple in-circuit examples of reading EEPROMs. It will then move into removing EEPROMs from the circuit, reading them with multiple pieces of equipment and then modifying the data.

    Overview:
