The Dahua DH-IPC-PDBW82041N-B360 Flexible Multi-sensor Dome Camera features four (4) 1/2.7-in. 5 MP Progressive-scan CMOS sensors each with a 2.8 to 12 mm motorized lens. Each sensor can be positioned and configured independently of the others allowing flexible, multi-directional video surveillance that replaces multiple single-sensor cameras and is ideal for monitoring large areas. The camera offers True Wide Dynamic Range, a True Day/Night IR Cut filter, IP67 Ingress protection and operation in extreme temperatures to deliver superior images in all lighting and environmental conditions

Functions

 

Perimeter Protection
Dahua Analytics+ includes Tripwire and Intrusion functions that offer custom tripwires based on object type for automation in limited access areas. Perimeter Protection requires less pixels to detect an object to deliver improved accuracy and decreased false alarms due to lights, weather, trees, or animals.

FlexStream Technology
The camera offers FlexStream technology that displays simultaneous video from each sensor in a single channel, streams viewed in the first channel simultaneously. That is, the multiple images can be displayed in one channel.

Face Detection
The camera detects and captures a snapshot of human face in a defined area within a scene. This technology supports detecting, tracking, capturing and selecting the best face image, and then outputs a face snapshot.

Starlight Technology

For challenging low-light applications, Dahua’s Starlight low light Technology offers best-in-class light sensitivity, capturing details in low light applications. The camera uses a set of optical features to balance light throughout the scene, resulting in clear images in dark environments.

Intelligent Video System (IVS)
IVS is a built-in video analytic algorithm that delivers intelligent functions to monitor a scene for abandoned or missing objects. A camera with IVS quickly and accurately responds to monitoring events in a specific area. In addition to scene analytics, the camera offers tamper detection by recognizing a dramatic scene change and generating a warning message to inspect the camera.

Smart H.265+
Smart H.265+ is the optimized implementation of the H.265 codec that uses a scene-adaptive encoding strategy, dynamic GOP, dynamic ROI, flexible multi-frame reference structure and intelligent noise reduction to deliver high-quality video without straining the network. Smart H.265+ technology reduces bit rate and storage requirements by up to 70% when compared to standard H.265 video compression.

Cybersecurity
Dahua network cameras are equipped with a series of key cybersecurity technologies including: security authentication and authorization, access control, trusted protection, encrypted transmission, and encrypted storage. These technologies improve the camera’s ability to prevent malicious access and to protect data.

Environmental
With a temperature range of –30 °C to +60 °C (–22 °F to +140 °F), the camera is designed for extreme temperature environments. The camera complies with an IK10 impact rating making it capable of withstanding the equivalent of 5 kg (11.02 lbs) of force dropped from a height of 40 cm (15.75 in.). Subjected and certified to rigorous dust and water immersion tests, the IP67 rating makes it suitable for demanding outdoor applications.
